Evelyn Rose

The dress in this picture has been made from a fabric I created from a scan of a photograph of my nan, Evelyn Rose, taken in 1950. I have maade the dress the same shape as the one she is wearing. The background of the canvas is made from a fabric created from lace, embroidery and collages papers. I have written phrases from an old embroidery book on the canvas using my sewing machine.
