Enraged by Donald Trump's comment "grab them by the pussy" and the subsequent "Nasty Women" protests, I started designing and stitching a subversive alphabet of woman's sexuality. Using traditional 'cross stitch' as my medium, this work is designed to look at first sight as if it were a child's alphabet, but beneath the initial naivety and humour lies a deeper message about who owns the female body and controls a woman's reproductive rights and sexual behaviour.
