I started making amulets and talismans in 2020 as a creative response to my feeling of helplessness as the severity of the pandemic unfolded. I collected objects from my daily walks, along pavements and through local woods, and transformed them into objects of magical protection.

I exhibited this collection in 2021 at the In Search of Possibilities Exhibition at the Art Pavilion in London where it was displayed and presented as a museum collection with index cards and a magnifying glass.

This is an ongoing project as I am always finding new objects on the floor which inspire new work. Recently I have started think that the objects find me ,rather than the reverse.
