As we sleep we have many dreams and visit many places, some are imagined which other are part of the landscape of our past.

The also refers to the House of Dream Memory which is a house we often visit in our dreams . I have a recurring dream when I visit the house where I was born tor my memory of it.
This work consists of a collection bed springs I collected by dismantling an old mattress, which had been left in the house my daughter had just bought . Each of the springs were wrapped in strips of fabric taken from old bedding and pillowcase ticking to create a dreamscape.
The House of Dream Memory is a vintage cotton pillowcase I have hand embroidered with a poem I have written about my house of dream memory
